Families Together of Orange County Issues Statement on Signing of the ‘Big Beautiful Bill’

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

TUSTIN, Calif., July 7, 2025 – With the signing of the ‘Big Beautiful Bill’ into law, the future of healthcare access in this country will change. The legislation’s Medicaid cuts and restrictions will reshape how millions of people, including thousands of Orange County residents, access and afford care.

At Families Together of Orange County, we know what coverage loss means in real terms. More than 70% of our patients rely on Medicaid to access the essential services they need to stay healthy. When patients can’t see a doctor, they end up in emergency rooms. When they face delays or paperwork barriers, conditions go untreated. When preventive care disappears, long-term costs rise for everyone.

But while the landscape around us is shifting, our commitment to our patients remains unchanged.

Families Together has long been an oasis in the healthcare industry. A place where people receive compassionate, high-quality care, regardless of insurance or ability to pay. That role has never been more important than it is now.

We are already taking steps to help our patients navigate the road ahead. From eligibility support to expanding our reach, we’re preparing to meet the challenges this law will bring. This moment is difficult, but not unfamiliar. We’ve faced uncertainty before, and we’ve emerged stronger because we’ve remained focused on what matters most: our community.

Community health centers like ours will be lifelines now more than ever. We remain grounded in our mission, confident in our team, and ready to continue bridging the gap in access to care.

We will be here. And we will move forward – together.
