FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
TUSTIN, Calif., December 4, 2025 – Families Together of Orange County (FTOC), a nonprofit Federally Qualified Health Center Look-Alike, is proud to announce the return of Christmas Together, one of the largest toy giveaway events in Orange County, taking place Saturday, December 20, 2025, at the Anaheim Convention Center.
After pausing the event last year, FTOC is bringing Christmas Together back at a time when many Orange County families are experiencing significant financial strain, driven by rising grocery prices, increasing insurance premiums, and the overall cost of living. With thousands of parents facing tough decisions this holiday season, Families Together felt a responsibility to reinstate the long-standing tradition and bring much-needed joy and relief to the community.
This year, Christmas Together will distribute 30,000 toys through a streamlined toy pick-up format introduced in response to community feedback. The updated model ensures that every family feels safe, comfortable, and able to participate, while still preserving the holiday magic that families have come to love. Attendees will also enjoy festive entertainment, holiday music, and photo moments with Santa Claus throughout the day.
“This has been a challenging year for many families in Orange County,” said Alexander Rossel, CEO of Families Together of Orange County. “As a community health center, we see firsthand how rising costs affect the well-being of the families we serve. Christmas Together is an extension of our mission, and a way to bring a little light and joy during a time when many parents are under tremendous pressure. We felt it was important to bring this event back, especially now.”
Christmas Together began in 2004 as a small distribution of a few hundred toys and has since grown into one of the county’s most anticipated holiday traditions. Under Rossel’s leadership, the event has expanded exponentially, distributing more than 20,000 toys annually in recent years and reaching 30,000 toys in 2023, solidifying its reputation as the largest toy giveaway event in Orange County.
Christmas Together will take place on Saturday, December 20 and is made possible thanks to the generous support from the City of Anaheim, the Anaheim Convention Center, and sponsors including CalOptima Health, Labcorp, and First Citizens Bank. Local elected officials and community leaders are also expected to attend in support of families throughout the region.
