Updated bivalent Covid boosters to protect against Omicron are now available at Families Together. Moderna doses are available for those 18 and older, and Pfizer is available for those 5 and older. If you have tested positive for Covid, or have recently received a booster dose, it is recommended by the CDC to wait at least 2 months before receiving an Omicron booster. Please note that Boosters are administered by appointment only. All patients must receive their full series of a Covid-19 vaccine before receiving a booster. The Test to Treat initiative aims to help people quickly access lifesaving treatments for COVID-19 at little to no cost. Through the Test to Treat initiative, individuals can be tested for COVID-19, see a health care provider (either on site or through telehealth), receive a prescription for an oral antiviral treatment (if they are eligible), and have the prescription filled—all in one location.
Patients can get tested at any FTOC location and if results come back positive, an FTOC provider will contact the patient with options for antiviral treatment. In partnership with our pharmacy, patients who opt to receive antiviral treatment will receive a prescription in the same day for the Pfizer Paxlovid anti-viral pills. The program is available for people 12 and over.
